About Split

Split is the largest city at the Croatian part of Adriatic coast with reach history. Although today’s Split was settled by ancient Greeks, the Roman Emperor Diocletian is considered to be it’s the very first citizen. Ancient palace, built by and for Diocletian more than 1700 years ago was a nucleus from which Split grew. Today’a visitor can feel historical influence of many cultures, making Split one of the most popular and the fastest growing touristic destination in Croatia.
